Brent got deep into Yoga about 4 years ago during “one of those pivotal points in life when change is unavoidable.” After a 40 day yoga challenge he found himself on a journey to places beyond his experience. Since that time, he has had a committed daily (almost) practice & have studied with some amazing teachers, including Paige Faraci, Steve Merkley, Tracy Groshak, John Friend, Chris Chavez, Seane Corn and his favourite blissologist, Eoin Finn. Brent’s personal brand of yoga is little of this & a little of that & a whole lot of heart.

His classes are challenging, fun, and creative. He teaches at One Yoga for the People, Yaletown YYoga, and Chopra Yoga Center. Chris has the “surf bug” like Eoin, and hosts Yoga and Surf retreats every year.
“Chris brings his down to earth attitude, passion for teaching, and soulful vibe to every class he teaches. Don’t miss out on his killer yoga jams”….. Eoin
Chris has been practicing yoga for 15 years. “I came to yoga for the relaxation, healing, invigoration and spiritual contact it brings. My first Yoga teacher training was on the science of the Chakras, with the Valhalla Yoga Center in Victoria. I was drawn to Eoin and his classes because of the amazing sense of community I got while in his class. After taking the Yoga teacher training program with him, I feel even more a part of that community. Staying active and connected to nature refuels our spirits and keeps us young forever.”

Jenny offers nature-inspired, alignment conscious, hatha flow yoga classes on southern Vancouver Island. Her background as an ecologist and geographer, cross-Canada career in environmental management, and experience in travel and outdoor activities inform the nature appreciation component of her yoga classes. Yoga helped Jenny regain her balance whenever life’s curve balls threatened, so her teaching approach aims to rejuvenate spirit, instill confidence, and foster community and stewardship. Jenny’s yoga practice evolved as she sampled Iyengar, Hatha, Astanga, Radha (now Yasodara) Power Vinyasa, Kripalu, Kundalini and Anusara Yoga. By 2012, her desire to share her love of both yoga and nature emerged as a life mission. She completed 300 hours of training with Eoin (240 hours in 2013; 60 in 2013) and now lives and extends the Blissology approach to others in various parks, community centres and yoga studios in the Victoria, B.C. area.

“I was first exposed to the Blissology Project while attending a retreat with Eoin & Insiya in the Baja. The concept deeply resonated with me and made sense. I immediately started to live it and share it. Blissology has been instrumental in helping me stay connected to my ‘true self’: that space that lies deep within; therefore allowing me to cultivate a deeper connection to my loved ones, my community and of course, to nature. I am grateful for all the Eoinisms that have comforted me and continue to serve me in such a positive and healing way, such as: ”where do we end and where does nature begin” and “nothing to prove, everything to share”. I am a passionate educator and promoter of the Blissology Project and I consider myself a lifetime student of Blissology and member of the Bliss Army movement!”
Having started her Yoga journey with Bikram Yoga ten years ago Tamara progressed towards flow / vinyasa yoga, and in 2009 took Eoin’s 200 hour training programme. “His vast knowledge of yoga and his commitment to making the world a blissful and greener place to live has been inspiring. I continue to practice and teach yoga for strength and fitness; but now I focus on body awareness, safe alignment, core strength, and breath to heal the body and relax deeper into flexibility. I have taken on the philosophy that the real Yoga begins when you leave your mat.

“Blissology is so much more than yoga! It’s recognizing the possibility of peace and happiness in each of us, and an approach for connecting to that peace and happiness through mindful, intentional living – the asana is simply part of that approach. And importantly it’s not just a “close your eyes and find zen” philosophy; Blissology celebrates interconnection, not isolation. My teaching and practice are both very Blissology-inspired…I’m lucky to live in a place where nature appreciation is easy – when we find tadasana in class we can actually look at a mountain, and feel fluidity in our movement like the river that flows before us. And I really try to foster a Blissology vibe in class – we laugh, smile, high five and appreciate who we’re practicing alongside.”
