Metta or Loving Kindness Meditation is an inspiring Buddhist technique to condition the mind to be more compassionate and accepting. Eoin has created a fluid combination of this ancient and powerful meditation with Breath and Vinyasa Yoga. We work so much on our outer muscles in yoga class, this workshop goes further to make sure that our muscles of kindness are stretched and strengthened as well. Expect an enlivening Blissology discussion, a soulful yet intensive vinyasa yoga practice with a long restorative savasana and a centering meditation. Get in touch with the big picture. January 30, Blissology Sunday: Circles of Connection

Yoga has become synonymous with hatha (physical) yoga, the calisthenic practice of yoga asanas. Should we despair that our body-obsessed, material culture has taken a classical Indian tradition of dissolving the ego through meditation (raja yoga), learning (gyana yoga), service (karma yoga) and devotion (bhakti yoga) and reduced it to stress reduction, flexibility and physical fitness? After this workshop you will see that the answer is resoundingly “No.” When presented properly the physical yoga practice can be a powerful tool to re-pattern our minds, bodies and hearts. Ultimately, the attitude with which we practice our Yoga is how we treat all our relationships, i.e. our personal relationships, our communities and our environment. This is the heart of the Blissology Mission. It is simple, powerful and good. Join Eoin and open up your inner Blissologist to radiate your heart’s true message.
